| The Autoclave Thermocouple is manufactured from a
fused FEP Teflon® wire construction. This construction was designed
to reduce the "leakage path through the wire" often
found in autoclave applications when traditional wire constructions
are employed. Color-coded, insulated singles are bonded together in
a proprietary process, eliminating the need for a conventional jacket.
A molded connector eliminates errors associated with connector
shorts and reverse readings. Every unit is tested for circuit
integrity and correct polarity. The construction consists of Special
Limits of Error Type "J" thermocouple wire with a welded
junction and high temperature (500 °F) molded standard
size connector. |
